Journeyman Lineman

Harriman Utility Board has an opening for a Journeyman Lineman.

Harriman Utility Board is currently seeking a Journeyman Lineman to construct, maintain, and repair overhead and underground distribution and transmission systems in accordance with industry standard practices and the policies of Harriman Utility Board. You must have a high school diploma and have successfully completed a certified lineman apprenticeship program.

Essential Job Functions:

  • • Carry out the performance of the job utilizing all required safety procedures and equipment
  • • Perform energized and de-energized line work using climbing tools and/or aerial lifts
  • • Perform on-call standby duties as required by the department
  • • Possess the ability to climb and do physically demanding tasks under extreme working conditions
  • • Must be able to report to work within 30 minutes on short notice or must be willing to relocate within 6 months

Work Status: Full-Time
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Pay Status: Hourly
