Natural Gas

The HUB Gas Department distributes natural gas to nearly 3,200 residential and commercial customers in Roane County. HUB’s Gas personnel are trained and qualified to meet extensive State and Federal regulations. The Gas Department Manager and Superintendent, along with our Director of Safety and field operators, conduct regular surveys of the gas distribution infrastructure each year. Safety is our first priority. To ensure compliance, HUB’s Gas Department must undergo a rigorous, week-long inspection each year by the State of Tennessee Public Utility Commission’s Gas Pipeline Safety division. Safety protocol, operator qualification training, and compliance monitoring are imperative in this line of work.
